Dear Dealerships — You’re Not Immune to Bad Calibrations

Dealerships, we love you. You’re on the front lines of repair. You’ve got direct access to OEM info. You even have the logo on the wall.

But here’s a hard truth:

Some of the worst ADAS failures we’ve seen came from dealership repairs.

Why? Because access doesn’t equal accuracy.

Common Dealership Calibration Sins:

  • “We didn’t think it needed calibration.”

  • “It passed the scan.”

  • “That’s just how the system behaves now.”

  • “Our tech was out today, so we skipped it.”

And yet the customer walks away thinking they got the best possible repair.

That’s a dangerous illusion — and a massive liability.

Final Word: Your Badge Doesn’t Make You Bulletproof

ACSA is here to raise the standard for everyone — dealership, independent, mobile, or fleet.

If you’re not following the procedure? We’re calling it out.

With respect — and with receipts.
